We are over at the Krishna Building in the M I D C area of Kandivali East. Specifically, we're at number 62 in the Vasant Sagar Complex, which is right across from Thakur Cinema. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so it helps when we’re giving directions. Ganesh Estate Agent has been around this neighborhood for years. I remember when some of these buildings were first being built. Now, the area is packed with shops and moviegoers. Our work is pretty basic—we help people find places to live or work around here. It involves a lot of phone calls and even more walking around to inspect properties. The office is just a regular room with a few chairs and a lot of paperwork. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. If someone needs a flat, they usually just walk in or call us because they saw our board outside. It’s a lot of talking to landlords and trying to get a fair deal for everyone involved. Sometimes the days are long, especially when we have to go back and forth with legal documents, but we’re used to it by now. Being right opposite the cinema means it’s never quiet, but we like the bustle of Kandivali. It feels like we are right in the heart of things. We just do our job and try to be helpful to the folks who come in. We always keep a few extra umbrellas for clients when the monsoon rains start.
