Gaiety'S Traders

We are located over in Kandivali West at C/3 in the Gopal Gordhan building on Mathmadas Road. It is a typical busy street for this part of the city. Our office space isn't anything special to look at, it is just a place where we handle our daily trading business and paperwork. Mathmadas Road always has something going on, whether it is people out shopping or folks just rushing through to get to the station. We spend most of our day on the phone or checking through various lists and records. The building itself has been around for quite a long time, and you can tell that just by looking at the stairs and the walls. We have one small window that looks out onto the street, which is actually quite good for people-watching when work slows down for a minute. Trading can be a bit unpredictable; some days are very quiet and other days we are running around like crazy trying to get things sorted. We don't use any fancy management systems or high-tech gear, just some old notebooks and a couple of computers that have seen much better days. It is just a practical way for us to work. Most of the other people in this building are doing similar kinds of work, so there is a shared rhythm to the day. We usually head out for a quick lunch at one of the small food stalls nearby. It is just a regular life.
