G D Gupta & Sons

G D Gupta & Sons is located in Charkop, over in Kandivali West. We’ve got a small space in the Audumber Chs building, specifically 168/B-44 in Sector 1. It’s a typical suburban spot with a lot of families and small shops around. We are a family-run outfit, mostly just me and the boys and a couple of helpers. We handle various hardware and metal parts. It’s the kind of business where you know your neighbors and people stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on a project they are doing at home. We don't have a big showroom or shiny floors. It's mostly shelves piled high with boxes and parts that we’ve collected over the years. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually have it buried somewhere. The traffic in Kandivali can be a real pain, so we try to get our deliveries done early in the morning before things get too crazy. We aren't looking to become some massive company. Being right here in the community is enough for us. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve seen the kids grow up and start their own families. G D Gupta & Sons is just a part of the local landscape now. We open up early, stay late if we have to, and just try to be useful to the people who need us.
