Friends Fast Food

You can find us at the Sarela Shopping Centre, in shop number 6, which is in Kandivali West. It’s a small place where local friends usually gather to hang out and talk for a while. That’s really why we called it Friends Fast Food in the first place. We don't have much of a theme or any special decorations on the walls. There are just some basic tables and chairs where people can sit down and have a chat. We make simple snacks and small meals for the neighborhood. It’s mostly just us working in the kitchen and one person taking the orders at the front. The shopping centre is an older building, so it has that old-school feel that some people like. We aren't trying to be fancy or modern. We just serve the kind of food we like to eat ourselves when we are hungry. Some days are very slow, especially when it’s raining hard outside and no one wants to walk. We just sit and wait for the weather to clear up so people come out again. We have a small television in the corner that’s usually tuned to a news channel or a cricket game. We know many of our regular customers by their names. They live in the apartments nearby. We don't use any social media. If people like the food, they come back. We buy our bread fresh from the bakery every single morning.
