Forbes Gokak Ltd.

I’m sitting here at our place on Saki Powai Road in Chandivali, thinking about how much this area has changed. Forbes Gokak Ltd. has been around for a while now. Most days are pretty much the same, filled with a lot of paperwork and people coming in and out. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have old desks and files stacked up, but it works for what we do. The traffic outside on the road is always loud, especially during the afternoons. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the hour. We don’t really do much talking about big goals or anything. We just show up, get the work done, and go home. Our neighbors know us well enough by now. It gets hot in the summer and the fans just move the warm air around, but nobody complains much. We’ve had some of the same staff for years, people who know every corner of this building. It’s a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but that’s just how Chandivali is these days. We keep things simple and try to stay out of the way. If you walk past the main gate, you’ll see the old sign. It’s a bit faded but it still says who we are. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look better than we are. We are just a group of people working together in this part of town.
