Foram Foods

Our place is in the Forum Building, right at number 617. We are located on Sanman Road, which is part of the JVPD Scheme in Vile Parle West. It’s a decent area to work in, though parking can be a bit of a struggle most days. We handle food products here, mostly dealing with the supply side of things. It’s a lot of phone calls and keeping track of what’s in the warehouse. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the people who buy from us get what they need without too much trouble. The office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and samples, but we know where everything is. Most of us live fairly close by, so the commute isn't too bad compared to some of our friends working in other parts of Mumbai. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the guys who deliver the mail. It feels like a small community in this building. When things get busy, it can get a little stressful, but we just take it one task at a time. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or big slogans. We just focus on the food and making sure the inventory is right. It’s practical work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
