Food Link

Food Link is located in Chembur East, right in the Swami Jairamdas Building. We are in B/104, which is just opposite the Chembur Police Station. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the station is near Basant Park. The area is quite nice, with some trees and a bit of a neighborhood feel compared to the more crowded parts of Mumbai. Our office is where we handle all the logistics for our food business. It’s usually filled with the smell of whatever we are working on or just the smell of old paper and coffee. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s more of a place where we get the real work done behind the scenes. My staff and I have been here long enough that we know the guys at the local shops and the officers across the street. We don't use any complicated systems. We just keep our lists and make our calls. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and it gets a bit stressful, but we just handle it one by one. It’s a very straightforward way of running things. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to make sure the food gets to where it needs to go and that everything is handled properly. It’s just us doing our daily jobs in Chembur, trying to keep things moving as smoothly as we can.
