If you walk down Pasta 1st Lane in Colaba Market, you’ll find us tucked away on the ground floor of the Ligouri Building. We’ve been operating Fisheria Seafood Llp from this spot for a while now. The market is always loud and busy, especially in the mornings when everything is moving fast. Our place at Plot No.7 isn’t fancy at all. It’s just a practical space where we handle the seafood that comes in. Being right here in Colaba 4 means we are in the middle of all the action. People know the area for its history and the way the market works. We spend our days sorting through what’s fresh and making sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the humidity in Mumbai gets to be a lot, but that is just part of living and working here. We have neighbors who have been in the market for decades. It is a tight space, and things can get a bit messy, but that’s how a real seafood business looks. You won't find any shiny office furniture here. Just desks, some crates, and the usual hustle. We deal with locals and suppliers who know us by face. It is mostly about getting the work done before the sun gets too high. There is always someone coming in or out. We just keep things moving along day by day in this corner of the city, right near the docks where the boats come in. It’s a lot of physical work, but it’s what we do.
