Venkatadri Poultries Private Limited is tucked away on the third floor of Omkar Esquare in Sion, Mumbai. Being right near the Sion Fish Market means there is always a lot of energy and movement around our building. Tatya Tope Marg is a typical Mumbai street, loud and filled with people. We manage our poultry business from this office, which is quite different from the actual farms out in the countryside. Here, it’s all about the paperwork, the orders, and making sure the distribution network functions in this massive city. The 3A office space isn’t huge, but it’s where all the decisions happen. Joglekarwadi is a place we’ve grown very familiar with over the years. We handle a lot of phone calls from suppliers and customers all day long. The elevator in the building can be slow, so we often find ourselves taking the stairs when we're in a hurry. It’s a bit of a grind, like most things in Mumbai, but we have a good rhythm going. We don't use any big words to describe what we do; we just move poultry products. The humidity in Sion can be tough, but the office fan keeps us going. We’re just a small team trying to keep up with the demands of the city. It’s a busy life, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if things were suddenly quiet.
