We set up our office on the first floor of building number 28 in Santacruz West. It is right on the 19th Main in the 1st Block, directly across from the Milan Subway. Being near the subway means we hear the trains and the cars all day long, but we have gotten used to it by now. The office is pretty simple with a few desks, some filing cabinets that don't always close right, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. We spend a lot of time looking at forms and helping people figure out their paperwork for various things. It is not very exciting work, but it is what we do. People come up the stairs to see us when they are worried about their documents or need a bit of help understanding some fine print. We usually have the fan running at full speed because it gets quite stuffy in here during the afternoons. There is a small tea stall downstairs where we go when we need a break from the computer screens. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of employees, just a small group of people working out of a room in Santacruz. We keep the place running and try to make sure every file is in the right drawer. It is a straightforward way to make a living and we like being in this part of town.
