Fine-Ethnic Collection Private Limited

Fine-Ethnic Collection Private Limited is located right in the middle of Dharavi, on Khambdevi Road. We operate out of a ground floor unit, A-35, in the Saibaba Nagar area. Being on the ground floor means we see everyone passing by, and there is always someone popping their head in to say hello. Dharavi is a place that never really sleeps, and there is a constant hum of activity from the small workshops all around us. Our space is filled with colorful ethnic wear, though it’s often a bit cramped because we have so much stock and materials piled up. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a few old ceiling fans that clatter while they spin. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We spend most of our time dealing with tailors or checking the embroidery on the latest batches. The monsoon season is always a bit stressful because we have to make sure no water seeps in from the street to ruin the fabrics. It’s a very hands-on job, and we usually end the day with thread all over our clothes and sore backs. We aren't trying to be some big corporate brand; we are just a local team making traditional clothes in a very hardworking neighborhood. It is loud, crowded, and messy, but it is exactly where we belong and how we work every single day.
