We have been based at 35 Malad West, Building No 1 for quite a few years now. Fasteners Multitrade India Pvt Ltd is the name on the door, but most people just know us as the fastener guys in the building. Our space is basically a big room full of metal racks that hold thousands of different screws, nuts, and bolts. It is a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around, and the floor is usually a bit greasy from the coatings on the metal parts. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that buzz while they spin. The building itself is a bit worn out, and the stairs are narrow, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Every morning we come in and start sorting through the orders that came in the day before. It is a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and counting out small pieces by hand. Sometimes we get a bit behind when a big shipment arrives, and the whole place gets blocked with wooden crates. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure we have the parts people are looking for. Malad is a busy place to work, and there is always something going on outside our window. We just stick to our routine and keep the shelves stocked up. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy every single day.
