Fargana Fast Food

Fargana Fast Food is located at 83, M S Ali Road, right in the Do Taki area of Mumbai. We’re very close to the J J Flyover, so you can always hear the rumble of cars and bikes overhead. This part of Mumbai never really sleeps, and neither do we. Our shop is small, and most people just stand and eat or take their food to go. It’s a very busy street with lots of shoppers and workers moving back and forth all day long. We don't have much room for fancy stuff, just our cooking equipment and a small counter. The heat from the stoves and the humidity of Mumbai make it a sweaty job, but we're used to it by now. We focus on getting the food out quickly because nobody in Do Taki has time to wait around. Sometimes the rain pours down and leaks a bit under the door, or the crowd gets so thick we can barely see the street, but that’s just life near the flyover. We buy our ingredients fresh from the local markets every morning. It’s a simple life of frying, grilling, and packing orders. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a fast food joint serving the people who live and work in this chaotic, wonderful part of the city. If you’re walking past the flyover and you’re hungry, we’re the ones with the steam rising from the pots.
