F. G. Glass Industries

F. G. Glass Industries is situated at No. 4 A 167- C in the Poonawadi building. We are right on Dr. B. A. Ambedkar Road in Dadar East. This is a massive road with a lot of history and even more traffic, so we are right in the middle of all that noise and movement. Being in Dadar East means we see thousands of people passing by every day, even if most of them don't realize we are here working away in the building. Our workspace is fairly functional, designed mostly for the heavy lifting and careful storage that glass requires. It’s often a bit of a struggle to get things loaded up because of how busy Ambedkar Road stays, but we’ve found ways to manage it over the years. Inside the shop, things are a bit calmer, though there is always the sound of cutting or the rattling of glass sheets being moved. We aren't a big corporation with lots of departments; we are just a small team of people who know our way around a glass cutter. The days can be long, especially when there is a lot of manual labor involved in moving the larger pieces. We just focus on the reality of the work and don't spend much time thinking about anything else. It’s a busy life in a busy part of Dadar, and we’re just another local business doing our part. We get the job done and go home.
