Extreme Engineering

If you head over to the Chembur Colony, you can find our office at A-701 in the Safe Ganga building. We’ve been here at Extreme Engineering for a good while. It’s an engineering office, so you’ll see lots of blue prints spread out and people arguing over measurements. The building itself is pretty standard for Chembur. We’ve got a small balcony where a few plants are trying to survive the dust. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a decent place to sit and work. We deal with a lot of structural stuff and mechanical parts. Most of the time, the fans are spinning fast to keep the heat away. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a regular kettle and some instant mix. The team is small, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We talk about the projects while we eat our tiffins. Outside, the sounds of the colony are always there—kids playing or cars honking. It’s a very local feel. We don’t put on suits unless we really have to go meet someone important. Mostly it’s just shirts and trousers, focused on the drawings. Sometimes we have to go out to sites, but the office in Safe Ganga is where the main planning happens. It’s a bit messy with all the catalogs and samples lying around, but we know where everything is. It’s just how we operate. We keep things simple and focus on the math.
