Epicure

Epicure is located at Khatau Bungalow 6. This part of Malabar Hill is actually quite nice because of all the old trees around. We have been working out of this bungalow for a long time. It’s got high ceilings and those old-fashioned floors that stay cool even when the sun is beating down outside. Sometimes the gate squeaks a bit when people come in. I keep meaning to oil it but then I forget. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road but most people don’t mind. We have a small staff here. We mostly just focus on getting the work done. There isn’t much drama. We drink a lot of tea in the afternoons. The kitchen area is where most of the action happens. It’s not a corporate office at all. It feels more like a home because, well, it is a bungalow. We have some storage in the back and a small space out front where we keep some plants. They don’t always survive the monsoon very well. The address is pretty easy to find once you know which lane to turn into. We don’t have a big flashing sign or anything like that. Just a simple nameplate. It suits us fine. We like the quiet here. Sometimes you can hear the birds more than the cars. It makes the day go by a bit smoother. We stay busy with the daily chores and keeping the place tidy.
