Empire Instrumentation

Empire Instrumentation is located in the Empire Complex at 414 Senapati Bapat Marg in Lower Parel. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and our building is right in the thick of it. It’s an old-school complex with wide staircases and heavy doors. Our workspace is filled with all sorts of testing equipment and small components. Because the work is so precise, we have to keep things a bit cleaner than a typical machine shop. We have large windows that look out over the street, so we can see the traffic jams forming every evening. It’s a good reminder of why we like to stay late sometimes just to avoid the rush. We’ve got a small team of technicians who have been here since the beginning. We don't have a fancy lobby or any corporate branding on the walls. It’s mostly just shelves full of manuals and boxes of instruments. We use an old filing cabinet for all our records, and it’s served us well for years. There is a small canteen downstairs where we go for snacks, and the food there hasn't changed in a decade. We like the consistency of this place. Lower Parel has become very modern with malls and glass towers, but our corner of Senapati Bapat Marg still feels like the old days. We just focus on our calibrations and repairs, making sure everything is working exactly as it should. It’s a quiet, steady rhythm that we’ve grown to appreciate over time.
