Elimar Frozen Foods

You can find us at Sassoon Dock in the B.P.T. Building. Being in Colaba means there is always noise and people moving around. We occupy rooms 169 and 170. It’s an old building, but it works for what we do. We handle frozen foods, which means we spend a lot of time around big freezers and heavy boxes. The docks are right there, so the salt air is everywhere. Most of us here just wear boots and jackets because it gets cold inside the storage areas. We don’t do much advertising or anything. Usually, people just come by or call us when they need a load moved. It’s a practical setup. We start early, often before the sun is really up, because that’s when the dock is most active. There are times when the traffic near the building is a mess, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Mumbai. We just keep our freezers running and make sure the inventory is right. It’s honest work. The walls could use a bit of paint maybe, but the equipment is what matters. We just stay focused on the daily tasks and get through the list of orders. We don't have any fancy desks or receptionists here. Just a couple of phones and a lot of cold storage space to manage. It is a bit loud and messy at times but we get the job done.
