Elegance Saree

If you go down Old Hanuman Lane in Kalbadevi, you’ll find us on the ground floor of Shanti Bhuvan. We are at No. 47. Kalbadevi is always crowded, especially this lane, so it can be a bit of a walk to get to us from the main road. The shop for Elegance Saree is tucked away in there. We don't have a huge storefront with big glass windows. It is more of a traditional setup where the stock is piled high. People who come to Shanti Bhuvan usually know what they are looking for. We spend our days unfolding and folding fabric, showing people the different patterns we have in stock. The ground floor can get a bit humid during the rains, but it stays cool enough most of the year. We have been in this spot for a long time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We know most of the other shop owners on Old Hanuman Lane, so there is a bit of a community feel here. Customers come in, sit down, and we start pulling things from the shelves. It’s a slow process sometimes, but that’s how it works with sarees. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show what we have and let the fabric speak for itself. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here.
