Economic Machine Tools

Economic Machine Tools is situated on the ground floor of the Great Western Compound. The address is 37, Nagindas Master Road Extension, right in the Fort area. Fort is an old part of the city, and the buildings here have a lot of history. Our space has thick walls and high ceilings, which is nice. It feels very solid. Being on the ground floor makes it easier to move heavy machines in and out, though the narrow streets of Fort can be a nightmare for big trucks. We have to plan our deliveries for very early in the morning or late at night. The staff here has been around for a long time. Some of them worked for the previous owners too. We don't use much fancy technology in the office. It’s mostly paper files and a landline phone that rings all day. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it suits the atmosphere of the Great Western Compound. We don't put out advertisements or try to sound like a modern tech company. We just handle machine tools. Most of our days are spent checking the stock or talking to mechanics who need something specific. It’s a lot of manual checking and making sure things are in working order. We like being in this part of town, even if it’s a bit cramped. It feels like we are part of the city’s history and we just keep doing our part. The work is steady and we know the business well.
