Duttakrupa Homely Food

We are located in Malad West, right in Awahali Wadi 3. It’s a residential pocket, so we feel more like neighbors than a business most of the time. We call it homely food because that’s exactly what we make in our kitchen. It’s the kind of stuff you’d eat at your own table. We don't use a lot of heavy spices or anything too oily. It's just simple, cooked meals for people who don't have the time to cook for themselves. Most of our customers are people living right here in the wadi or working nearby. We keep the menu small so we can make sure everything is done right. The kitchen is always busy with the sound of pressure cookers and chopping. We don't have a fancy dining area; it’s more of a place where you pick up your tiffin or sit for a quick, quiet meal. We've been here for a good bit now, and we know most of our customers by name. It’s a lot of hard work, especially in the heat, but we enjoy the routine. We just want to provide a decent meal that doesn't cost too much.
