Our office is way up on the 12th floor of Mittal Tower in Nariman Point. We’re in the B Wing, unit 210. Being at Nariman Point means we are right in the heart of the old business district. You get a good view of the city from up here, but we’re usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window much. DRKL Realty is just a small group of us working out of this space. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here with the elevators being busy, but it’s a solid place to do business. We handle a lot of different property matters, mostly focusing on the commercial and residential stuff around South Mumbai. It’s a different world down here compared to the suburbs. Everything is a bit more formal, but we try to keep our own approach pretty down-to-earth. We aren't interested in using fancy words or making big promises. We just look at the data, talk to the owners, and see what can be done. It’s a lot of phone calls and meeting people for coffee in the building lobby. The atmosphere in Mittal Tower is always buzzing with people from all sorts of companies. We just stick to our corner and get our work done. It’s a practical way to run a real estate business in one of the busiest parts of the world. We have been here for a while and know the building inside out.
