D.P. Designs Private Limited

If you’ve ever been to Andheri East, you know how crazy the traffic gets, especially off Mahakali Caves Road. Our place, D.P. Designs Private Limited, is inside the Girikunj Industrial Estate. It’s one of those old buildings where you have to know exactly which stairs to take or you’ll get lost. We have a decent-sized space, but between the computers and the drafting tables, it feels pretty tight. There are always rolls of drawings and samples scattered around the place. We keep saying we’ll clean it up on Saturday, but we usually just end up going home early instead. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, which is a bit annoying, but we’re used to it by now. Being in Andheri means we are close to everything, but the noise from the street never really stops. We spend our days looking at designs and trying to figure out how to make them work in the real world. Sometimes a project gets complicated and we all end up sitting around the big table arguing about it for an hour. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass walls or fancy coffee machines. We just make coffee in a small pot in the corner. We focus on the work at hand and try to stay on top of the deadlines. It’s a lot of sitting and drawing, but it’s what we do.
