I have my office at A/7 in Goregaon East, right on Varachha Road. It’s on the third floor of the Sahyadri building. A good way to find us is to look for Saint Thomas High School, as we are right next to it. Being near a school means the mornings and afternoons are very loud with kids and buses, which I actually quite enjoy. It makes the neighborhood feel alive. As an insurance and financial advisor, I spend most of my time sitting at my desk going through files and explaining things to people. The office is simple—just a couple of chairs for clients and a big shelf full of folders. It’s not a corporate glass office; it’s a place where neighbors come to talk about their future. I’ve lived and worked in Goregaon for a long time, so I know a lot of the families who walk by. The walls are a plain off-white, and I have a few plants on the windowsill that I try to keep alive. Sometimes people just drop in to ask a quick question about a form they received in the mail. I try to keep things easy to understand because financial stuff can be confusing for no reason. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work. On rainy days, you can hear the water hitting the tin roof of the shed nearby. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day. Nothing fancy, just me and my papers, trying to help people get things sorted.
