Nagdevi Street is a place you don't forget once you've spent a day there. We are located at Esmail Mansion, right on the first floor in Shop 102. It’s a busy part of the Masjid area where the streets are narrow and the energy is high. At Diamond Tools Industries, we deal with a lot of heavy-duty stuff. The building itself has been around for a long time, and you can feel that history when you walk up the stairs. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be clever about how we stack the inventory. Every inch of the wall is used for something. It gets quite loud outside with the handcarts and the shouting of the loaders, but once you’re inside the shop, we just focus on the task at hand. We see all kinds of people coming through Nagdevi Area looking for specific hardware or tools. Most of our day is spent answering questions or checking the stock levels. It’s repetitive work, but there is a certain rhythm to it that feels right. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright lights. If the tool is good, that’s what matters to the person buying it. We’ve lived this way for years, opening up early and staying until the street starts to quiet down a bit in the evening. It’s honest work in a very old part of the city. There isn't much to complain about when you have a good routine and plenty of work to keep you occupied.
