Dialabiryani

Dialabiryani is based out of Malad West, right on the Main Marve Road in the Rathodi area. It is a busy street, especially during the evening commute when everyone is heading home. Most of our work happens in the back where the big pots are kept. We spend a lot of time getting the rice and the spices just right. It is a slow process that cannot be rushed, even when the phone starts ringing off the hook. We are not a big corporate chain. It is just a small team of us here making sure the orders go out to the right houses. Sometimes the delivery bikes get stuck in the Malad traffic, which is a headache for everyone involved, but we do what we can. We have been in this neighborhood for a bit and have seen many businesses come and go. We just stay focused on our own kitchen. The smell of the food usually fills the whole block by noon. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of cleaning and heavy lifting involved every day. We do not use any fancy marketing tricks to get customers. People usually find us because they live nearby or they are driving down Marve Road and see our sign. We keep things straightforward. If you want biryani, we have it. We do not try to do twenty different things at once. We just stick to what we know and try to keep the quality steady from one day to the next. It is a local operation.
