Dharmendra Gupta

I've been working out of Gautam Udyog Bhavan for a while now. It's unit 91, over in Bhandup West. If you're looking for us, we're right behind where the Dena Bank used to be, or where it still is, depending on how you look at the street. It's a busy part of the neighborhood with a lot of noise from the workshops around here. Dharmendra Gupta is the name on the door, but it's just me and a couple of others most days. We don't have a big reception. It's mostly just a workspace filled with tools and whatever we're working on that week. The walk up to the unit can be a bit tiring in the heat, but the breeze is okay once you're inside. I started this because I needed a place to work and Bhandup seemed like the right spot. We don't do anything fancy. Just day-to-day work, keeping things moving. Sometimes we have tea with the guys from the next unit over. It’s a community of small businesses here in the Bhavan. We keep the lights on late sometimes when there's a lot to get through. It’s nothing special, just an honest day's work. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window in the monsoon, so we have to move our things around. It's just part of being in an older building like this. We don't have a website or anything like that, because most people just find us by word of mouth. We keep a small radio playing in the background to keep us company while we work. It's a quiet way to spend the day.
