Deolekar Associates

You can find Deolekar Associates on the ground floor at Door No 1/48. We are located in Santacruz East, tucked right behind the Vakola Police Station. It’s actually a pretty handy landmark to give people because otherwise, the lanes around here can get a bit confusing. Being on the ground floor is nice because we don't have to deal with any elevators or long flights of stairs when we’re carrying files in and out. The office itself is quite modest. We have our desks set up and some old cupboards for all the records we keep. It’s usually just a few of us here, working through the usual daily tasks that come with running things. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small shops, so it feels very much like a community. We hear the police sirens every now and then since the station is so close, but mostly it’s just the sound of the street and neighbors passing by. The lighting in the office could probably be better, and the walls might need a fresh coat of paint one of these days, but it works for us. We’ve stayed in this same spot for a long time because it’s convenient and everyone knows where we are. We don't do much in the way of decoration; we just focus on getting the work done and making sure everything is filed away properly. It’s a quiet, practical way to spend the work week without any big interruptions.
