Deluxe Enterprise

Working out of Peerbhai Terrace is interesting. It is an old building on J. S. S. Road. Being on the 1st floor is good because we don't have to wait for the lift which is often broken anyway. Deluxe Enterprise is at 102/C. The Opera House area is always full of movement. There is always a horn honking or someone walking fast. We come in early before the heat gets too bad. The office has big windows but the view is just the building across. We spend most of our time at the desks or talking to people who drop by. It is not a big corporate setup. It is just a few of us making sure things get done. The floor is slightly uneven and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home now. We know the tea stall guy downstairs and the security guard. Sometimes customers get lost looking for 102/C because the layout is a bit confusing. We usually have to tell them to look for the terrace sign. It is a practical place. We keep our files in steel cabinets. The sound of the traffic on J. S. S. Road is like background music for us. We have been here for a while and we know the rhythms of the street. It is a decent place to work. No one bothers us much and we just keep at it.
