Delicious Veg Corner

We opened Delicious Veg Corner on Khodiyarnagar Road 1 in Malad West because there weren't many quick veg options right on this stretch. It is a small stall-like setup, not a big sit-down restaurant with a lot of space. We focus on vegetarian snacks and some main dishes that are easy to take away in a hurry. Most people just stand and eat or take their bags home. The stove is going from early morning until late at night. It gets a bit greasy around the cooking area, but we scrub it down every night before we head home. We buy our vegetables from the local market every day so we don't have to store much in the small fridge we have. Sometimes the rain makes it hard because we don't have much cover for the customers, but they still show up with umbrellas. It's just a few of us working here, usually family members helping out. We don't have any uniform or corporate rules, we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. The name is simple and so is the food we serve. We don't use any complicated ingredients, just the usual spices we have at home. It’s a busy little corner and we like the energy of Malad West. If you are walking down Khodiyarnagar Road, you’ll probably smell what we’re cooking before you see us. We’re just here to feed people in the neighborhood.
