Deepak Kakkar

I work out of the Manisha Building in Prabhat Colony, specifically in unit F-10. It’s on the 5th Main, near the 17th Cross in the 2nd Stage area. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the busier parts of the city. I’ve lived and worked around here for quite a long time. The office isn't much, just a room with my books, a computer, and a couple of chairs for guests. I tend to do most of my work alone or with one assistant. My name is on the door, and that’s about as formal as it gets. I handle a lot of different tasks throughout the week, mostly dealing with paperwork and helping people figure out their personal business matters. It’s a lot of reading and checking numbers. Sometimes I lose track of time when I’m deep into a project. The building is decent, though the elevator is a bit slow sometimes. I like the neighborhood because it feels like home. I know the guy who sells tea downstairs and the people who live in the apartments nearby. It’s a very grounded way to live. I don't go for flashy ads or anything like that. Most people who come to see me were told to do so by a friend or a neighbor. It’s just me doing my bit, day in and day out, from this little corner of the building. It’s not a big operation, just me and my desk.
