You can find us at 325 Jai Gopal Industrial Estate, which is over at 510 Bhavani Shankar Cross Road in Dadar West. Dadar is always a whirlwind of activity, and our building is no different. The elevators are constantly busy with people moving goods up and down, so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. Our space is filled with the tools of the trade—patterns, scissors, and plenty of fabric scraps. It’s a bit disorganized at times because we are always in the middle of a few different things at once. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more of a workshop where the actual work happens. The noise from the cross road filters in throughout the day, mixed with the sounds of our own machines. We spend a lot of time hovering over tables, checking the details on whatever we are making. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to be finished, ordering some food from the local stalls nearby. The light coming through the windows is quite good in the mornings, which helps with the precision work. We’ve been here in Dadar for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but our routine stays mostly the same. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and making sure the pieces look the way they are supposed to before they leave the estate.
