Neeyatee Sarees

We've been here at shop number 9 for a while now. Finding us isn't too hard since we are right below the Shantidoot Hotel. If you know Hindmata Cloth Market, you know how busy it gets. Dadar is always crowded, especially around here. We spend our days folding and unfolding sarees. Most of the time, the shop is full of fabric. People come in looking for something for a wedding or just a regular function. We have all kinds of stuff stacked on the shelves. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can barely hear the customers. It’s just how things are in this part of town. The stairs leading down to the hotel area are a good landmark if you're lost. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts winding down. There’s no fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just the fans going. We just try to keep things organized, though with so many colors and materials, it gets messy fast. My family has been around this market area for years. It’s a lot of work keeping track of what’s in stock. Customers usually know what they want before they even walk in. We just show them what we have on the racks. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big website or anything, just this physical spot in the market where we do our business every day. We try to stay patient when the crowds get thick.
