We are over at Shop No A 2 in the Meher Building here in Dadar West. Most people know the spot because we are right opposite Oven Fresh, so if you get the smell of bread, you are close. Our place isn't anything fancy, just a regular estate office where we keep all the files and maps for the local area. Being in Mate Nagar means it gets pretty busy during the day. We spend most of our time answering the phone or heading out to show someone a flat nearby. It’s a lot of walking up and down stairs in these old buildings around here. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to hear, but that is just Dadar for you. We have been sitting in this same shop for quite some time now. There is a small desk where we handle the paperwork and a few chairs for when neighbors drop by to ask about prices. It is mostly just us dealing with the usual house hunting stuff or rentals. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a local business run out of a small space. Usually, someone is here by mid-morning once the shops start opening up. If the shutter is half down, we are probably just out for a quick tea or checking a site. We know the streets around here pretty well by now and the people too.
