Prabhat Collecton

Our shop, Prabhat Collecton, is situated at Nazarath House on Bhawani Shankar Road. Dadar West is always a whirlwind of activity, especially around the station area. We are at number 45, and it’s a spot we’ve called home for quite a while. The shop is filled with various items we’ve gathered over time. It isn't a massive place, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have. Sometimes things get stacked a bit high. You might see us shuffling boxes around to find a specific size or color for a customer. We don't have fancy lighting or expensive displays. It’s just a regular shop where we sell what we have. The floor is old tile and the walls are covered with whatever we’re selling at the moment. We spend a lot of our time chatting with the regulars who stop by to see what’s new. The noise from the street is something we don't even notice anymore. Rain or shine, we open up at the same time every morning. It can get quite crowded in here during the festival seasons, which makes things a bit chaotic but keeps us busy. We don't bother with big advertisements. We just rely on being here every day and doing our work. It’s a local business through and through, right in the heart of a busy Mumbai neighborhood.
