Located at 2127 in Goregaon West, we’ve been serving food to this neighborhood for a while now. The kitchen is small and it gets very hot in there, especially during the lunch rush when all the burners are going at once. We have about ten tables in the front. They don't all match perfectly because we bought a few extra ones when we realized we needed more seating. The menu is just a single sheet of paper that we had printed nearby. We don't change it much because people usually come here for the same things anyway. Our waiter, Rajesh, has been with us since the start and he knows exactly how most of the locals like their tea. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, so we play some radio music to drown it out. We aren't a fine-dining place where you need a reservation. You just walk in, find a seat, and eat. The walls have some old pictures on them that have faded over the years. We keep the place clean, but it has that lived-in feel that you only get from years of people coming in and out. It’s a busy life, especially on the weekends when families bring their kids. We just try to get the food out fast and hot. It’s not perfect, but it’s our place and we like it here. It’s just a normal restaurant for normal people.
