Choudhary Aluminium Glass

If you walk down towards the bus depot in Kandivali West, you’ll see our shop. It is Shop No 3 in the Shivam Co Operative building. We are right across from Parishram Tower, so it’s easy to spot if you’re looking for glass or aluminium work. Most of our days are spent cutting glass or putting frames together right there on the shop floor. It’s messy work with all the dust and metal shavings, but that’s how it goes for us. We’ve been here at Choudhary Aluminium Glass for years. People come in with broken window panes or they want a new sliding door for their balcony. We don't have a big sales team. It is just us doing the actual labor. The noise from the bus depot is constant, but it keeps the area lively. We usually have some tea around four o'clock and talk about the jobs we have to finish by evening. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of materials delivered. We don't use any fancy machinery, just the tools we’ve always used. It works fine for what we do. Neighbors know us by name, and we like it that way. If someone needs a mirror fixed or some aluminium section for their office, they just walk in. We don't really do much advertising because the work speaks for itself when people see it in their homes. We stay busy and we stay local. That is about it.
