Choi Kim Cuisine

We are located in Borivali West, right by Trimurti Chowk. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because the address also mentions Vadgaon Budruk in Pune, but we’re mostly focused on our kitchen here. The space is split into two sections, 1 and 2, so we have enough room to cook and prep everything. It’s usually pretty loud with the sound of the woks and the exhaust fans. Borivali is always moving, and being near the chowk means there’s constant traffic noise. We spend most of our shift in the back, making sure the ingredients are prepped and the orders are going out. It gets pretty sweaty in there when the burners are on full blast. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to get the food ready. Sometimes the orders pile up and we have to move fast to keep everyone happy. The floors can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful, so we’re always cleaning. We’ve got a small team, and we all know our roles. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s good work. People in the area know us for being reliable. We just open up the shutters, get the stove hot, and stay until the last order is done. It’s just us doing our thing every day near the busy intersection. The smells of the kitchen usually drift out onto the street by lunchtime.
