Chit Chat The Mini Foodcourt

We are set up on Ram Mandir Road in Vile Parle East, specifically at number 16. It is a mini food court, so it’s not very big. We have a few different counters going at once. It gets pretty loud during the lunch hour when the office crowds and the students come in. There is always the sound of stoves going and people calling out orders. We don’t have much in the way of decor, just some basic tables and stools that are easy to wipe down. The floor is concrete and it’s seen a lot of spills over the years. We try to keep it clean, but when it’s busy, it’s hard to keep up. We are right on the road, so you can hear the cars and the rickshaws passing by all the time. Sometimes the dust from the street comes in, so we are always dusting off the counters. It’s a busy little spot and we are mostly just focused on getting the food out fast. We don’t have a long history or any fancy stories. We just opened up here because it seemed like a good place for a food court. The people who work here are local, and we all just try to get through the day. It’s a practical place to get a quick bite without any fuss. You just walk in, find what you want, and eat.
