Chetan Naik

I’ve been at this spot on MG Road for quite a while now. Most people know the area because of the Murlidhar shop right across from us at Bhoomi Enclave. It gets pretty crowded around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out on R V Road. V V Puram has that old Bangalore feel to it, even though things are changing fast. My office at number 31 isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and a desk where I handle my daily business. I usually get in early before the traffic really picks up because once the sun is up, finding a place to park around here is a nightmare. It’s mostly just me and a couple of people helping out with the paperwork and whatever else comes up during the day. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to chat or ask about something local. It’s a practical setup, nothing like those fancy glass buildings you see in other parts of the city. We keep the doors open most of the time to get some air, even if it brings in the dust from the street. It’s just how things have always been since we started. I like the routine of being here, seeing the same faces walk past every morning. We don’t have big signs or anything, just the address and my name on the door. It works for what we do and the people who know us find their way here easily enough. We stay busy enough.
