You can find us at number 3, Chembur Mahila Samaj Vikas Kendra, right in the Chembur Colony. We are directly opposite the Pooja Building, which most people know. Star Estate Agency is where we spend our working hours. It’s a lively spot and there’s always something happening on the street outside. Our office isn't very big, so it can get a bit cramped when we have a few visitors at once. We handle a lot of the local rentals and sales around this part of Chembur. It’s a mix of old buildings and some newer stuff coming up. We spend a lot of time walking from one building to another to show apartments or check on maintenance. The humidity can be tough during the summer, but we keep the fans going. We aren't a big corporate chain. We are just local people who know the buildings and the landlords around here. Sometimes the paperwork for the societies takes much longer than we want it to. We just have to be patient and keep pushing things along. People stop by to chat or to ask if anything new has come up for rent. We try to keep a list on the desk of what's available. It’s not a fancy system, but it gets the job done for us and the people in the colony. We just keep moving through the day and trying to stay organized.
