Shashikant Estate Agent operates out of the Fine Arts Hall area in Chembur. We are located right opposite the Hanuman Mandir, which is a very peaceful spot to be near. The bells from the temple are something we hear every day, and it gives the office a nice feel. Fine Arts Hall is a big place for events, so there is usually something happening nearby. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We spend our time managing properties around Chembur and talking to folks who want to live near the temple or the hall. We have some old chairs for people to sit in while we go over the details of a lease or a sale. Being an estate agent here means you get to know all the local families. We don’t do any of that high-pressure sales stuff; we just show what is available and let people decide. Sometimes the area gets crowded during festival times at the Hanuman Mandir, but we don't mind the energy. We usually have the door open to let some air in, and we keep a calendar on the wall to track our appointments. It’s a simple life in Chembur. We’ve been at this for a bit, just working from our desk and keeping track of the local housing market as it changes.
