Chhabria Real Estate

Our office is at 6/196 in Chembur East, right inside the Vishwa Shantiniketan Society. It is pretty easy to find because we are near Jama Sweet, and most people around here know that shop. We have been working from this small space for quite a few years now. Chhabria Real Estate isn't a big, fancy company with lots of workers. It's just a few of us sitting at our desks, talking to people who need a place to live or a shop to start their own business. The office gets a bit crowded with all the files and folders we keep on the shelves. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool enough during the humid afternoons. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or walking around the neighborhood to check on different flats. Chembur is a busy place, and there is always someone moving in or out. We handle the paperwork, which can be a real pain sometimes with all the signatures and stamps needed. We know the local landlords and the building secretaries, so we can usually find out what is available before it gets listed anywhere else. It’s not a glamorous job, just regular work that involves a lot of waiting for people to show up and a lot of talking. If you come by, you might have to wait a bit if we are out showing a property to someone else. That is just how it goes here in this part of town.
