Our office is located on the ground floor of Savitri Bhavan in Chembur. It’s a convenient spot for people to drop by. Chembur is a big area but this building is one people usually know. We’ve been running Arkays Estate Agency Property Consultant from this ground floor space for a while. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and folders everywhere but we manage just fine. Working on the ground floor means we see people walking past all day long. Sometimes they just stick their head in to ask a quick question about a flat or a shop nearby. We aren't fancy people. We just sit here and do the work that needs doing. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but it feels like home to us. Chembur has a lot of movement and we try to keep up with it. It’s mostly about knowing which building has an empty unit or who is moving out next month. We drink a lot of tea and talk to neighbors. That’s how we get most of our information. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here in Savitri Bhavan and talking to people who come through the door. It’s straightforward work. We help out with property things and try to be helpful when someone is looking for a new place to stay or do business. It is just the way we have always done things here.
