Chef In The Box

You can find Chef In The Box over at Ghoga Street 9. It is a small setup, mostly focused on getting the food out to people who are working nearby. The kitchen is the main part of the space and it takes up most of the room. We have stainless steel counters that we are constantly wiping down because things get messy fast when you are cooking all day. Ghoga Street 9 isn't the widest road, so it can get a bit cramped outside when the delivery bikes are parked there. We spend a lot of time prepping ingredients in the morning, chopping vegetables and making sure the containers are ready. There isn't much of a place to sit down, so it is mostly just us working in the back. The heat from the burners can be quite a lot during the summer months, but we have a small fan that helps a bit. We don't do any fancy plating or anything like that because the food is going into boxes anyway. It is a lot of repetitive work, day in and day out, but it keeps us busy. We see the same delivery drivers every day and we have a bit of a routine going with them. It is just a regular food business trying to keep up with the daily demand on Ghoga Street. There are no big signs or bright lights, just us in the kitchen.
