You can find our shop at No. 110 in the Esplanade Mansion. It is a famous old building in the Kalaghoda area. We are near the Civil Court, so there are always a lot of lawyers and people in suits walking around. The building itself has so much history, though it is a bit crumbly in places now. We sell consumer products from this small space. It is packed with boxes from the floor to the ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to move around in there, but we know where everything is kept. The ceilings are high and the windows are tall, letting in the light from the street. It gets very busy during the day with people coming in to check on their orders. We have been in Kalaghoda for a while and have seen the neighborhood change into a bit of an artsy spot, but we just stick to our business. We don't have any polished displays or bright neon lights. It is just a shop with wooden shelves and a creaky floor. We handle things one customer at a time. It is a good place to be, right in the middle of all that Mumbai energy. We keep the kettle going and try to stay on top of the daily chores. Being near the court means the street is always lively, and there are plenty of places nearby to grab a chai or a snack when things slow down for a minute. The mansion has these old wooden shutters that we have to open and close every day, and they can be a bit heavy. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we all look out for each other. It’s a tight-knit community in a very big city. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing campaign. People usually find us because they were walking by or someone told them where we were. We just try to keep the shelves stocked and the customers happy with what they get. It is a practical way to run a business.
