Chandresh P Savla

Our place is at 304 Dadar West, right on the Main Road in the Jogani Industrial Estate. If you know Mumbai, you know that Dadar is basically the heart of everything, so it is always loud and crowded outside. Being on the third floor helps a little bit with the street noise, but you can still hear the buses and the horns all day long. Chandresh P Savla is the name we go by, and this office has been our base of operations for quite a while. The industrial estate is an older building, so it has that classic look with heavy doors and narrow corridors. Inside our space, things are kept fairly simple. We have the usual office furniture and a lot of cabinets for all our documents. It’s the kind of place where we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. We don’t really bother with making the place look like a high-end corporate suite because that’s just not our style. We are here to work and take care of the things that need doing. The walk from the station isn't too bad, though it can be a struggle when it’s raining hard and the crowds are thick. We usually start our day with a quick cup of tea and then get straight into the work until it’s time to head back home in the evening. It’s a very practical, local way of running things.
