Chandrakant D Damri

My place is located in Motilal Nagar 1, specifically in Ankur Society, house number 148/1181. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main roads of Mumbai. I’ve been working from here for quite a while now. It’s not a big commercial office with a shiny sign out front. It’s more of a personal setup where I handle my daily business tasks. Most of the people around here are neighbors I’ve known for years. Living and working in the same area means I don't have to deal with a long commute, which is a blessing in this city. The society is usually busy with kids playing or people heading to the market in the evenings. I keep my workspace organized as best as I can, though sometimes the papers pile up when I’m busy. It’s a simple life. I don't have a team of people working for me, just myself managing the things that need to get done. Whether it’s answering calls or finishing up a project, it all happens right here in this room. The building is one of those typical Mumbai society structures, maybe a bit old but it’s sturdy and comfortable. I like the routine of starting early before the rest of the neighborhood wakes up. It gives me a bit of peace to plan the day. It’s just a small, honest operation rooted in the local community and I like it that way.
