We are located at Mount View 3, specifically in flat number 4. Hill Road is always packed with people shopping and cars trying to get through, so it’s pretty lively outside. Being on the 241 stretch means we are right in the middle of everything in Mumbai. The studio is more like a home that we’ve turned into a workspace for Cassandra Kehren Creative Studio Llp. It’s got that old Mumbai apartment feel to it. We keep our supplies and equipment in the main room. It isn't a massive place, but it works for what we do. We usually have the windows open, though the street noise can be a lot sometimes. We spend a lot of time here working through projects or whatever is on the table that week. It’s a practical setup. There’s a kitchen where we make tea, and the balcony has a few plants that we try to keep alive. People usually come by only if they have an appointment because finding parking on Hill Road is almost impossible. Most of us just take a rickshaw or walk from the station. It’s a simple life here. We don’t have a big sign outside or a fancy front desk. It’s just flat 4, where we do our creative work every day. It feels more like a workshop than a business office, which is fine by us. We just keep doing our things here in the flat.
