Captain Tools

You can find Captain Tools right over on Bibijan Street. We are at number 39, which is in the heart of the Nagdevi area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always crowded with people looking for hardware and supplies. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We open up early because that’s when the first customers start showing up. It’s a small space, really, but we manage to fit a lot of tools inside. Most days, we are just moving boxes around or helping someone find a specific size of something they can’t find elsewhere. The street outside is always noisy with carts and bikes going past. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the pace. It’s not a quiet job. There is always something to count or a delivery to wait for. We don't have a big team, just enough people to keep the doors open and the shelves somewhat tidy. Sometimes it feels like we are fighting for space with all the stock, but that’s just how it goes in Nagdevi. We keep the ledger on the main counter and try to stay on top of things. It’s straightforward work. No big speeches or fancy displays here, just a lot of metal and the smell of oil and dust. We like it that way. When the rain comes down hard, we pull the shutters halfway, but the work never really stops.
